Job Overview

Source Forward is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Associate to join our team of Sustainability Consultants, supporting the development and implementation of electric vehicle charging stations at commercial properties in New York.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with property owners and managers, and working closely with our engineering team to deliver customized EV charging solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities for EV charging station installations at commercial properties
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct site assessments and gather information to support the development of customized EV charging solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients
  • Collaborate with our engineering and project management teams to ensure successful implementation of EV charging solutions
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and incentives related to EV charging infrastructure
  • Represent Source Forward at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in clean energy, sustainability, or commercial real estate
  • Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market in New York
  • Knowledge of EV charging technology and infrastructure (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Passion for sustainability and clean energy
